Fishing Reports

           Weather has gotten fairely hot so fishing is especially good in the mornings. Inshore Catches have included bonita, king mackerel, Snapper, grouper, Spanish mackerel, and Jack Crevalle. Offshore has been good for mahi mahi, King Mackerel, Tuna and Wahoo. The water temps have started to cool down with the occasional showers and somewhat cooler nights. My charter captain colleague hooked a swordfish just off the Destin Beaches and fought it for 1 1/2 hours before losing it. I have caught some Big Tarpon on several trips early in the mornings but they wont be here long. Bait has been plentiful and Bonita busting bait pods have been numerous.
