Captain Doug Richards enjoys fishing with families and their children especially teaching them the fundamentals from hooking the fish to landing and releasing them. The kids and youngsters even enjoy catching the bait.

On the Left Pictured is a young angler, 12 yrs age hooked up with a large Bonita
on a spinning rod. The angler caught and landed the fish and released him.

Pictured on the left is a 100 lb Tarpon caught by an angler and his son on board
the Lighten Up Charter boat with Captain Richards. Here Captain Richards is holding
the Tarpon just before releasing the fish unharmed.

The large Tarpon was landed by spinning tackle. The Tarpon arrive in the Destin
area in the summer and remain here for only a few short months.

Pictured here are some happy anglers who enjoyed their day of fishing
and had some fish to take home and stories to tell.

Here is 2 yr old grand daughter and mom catching their first saltwater fish a
Red Snapper and displaying it proudly. Adriene and Crystal caught many fish
and memories that day of being on the gulf for their first time.
